Easter is Sunday! I always enjoy Easter because to me that signals that we have made it through winter. Thank goodness that is behind us! If you are looking for an Easter dessert that can be made ahead of time and is a crowd-pleaser, then you are going to want to add this Banana Pudding recipe to your menu!
To be honest, I never really appreciated banana pudding until a couple of years ago. I guess I had never really had any that I liked until I tried this version. It’s so good! I think it’s the sweetened condensed milk that really sets this recipe apart from others. I can’t think of any recipe that has sweetened condensed milk in it that I don’t like.
This banana pudding recipe is so easy! You only need a few ingredients and no cooking is required. It’s as simple as mixing some milk, instant pudding, sweetened condensed milk and Cool Whip together and layering it between cookies and bananas.
I use Pepperidge Farm Chessman Cookies in this recipe because that’s what my family likes. You could easily swap out Vanilla Wafers or graham crackers in place of the cookies.
Give this banana pudding recipe a try this weekend. I think everyone will enjoy it!
Happy Easter!
