I don’t know about you, but now that we are home for dinner EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT I am running out of ideas. The one thing that I have found to help me is revisiting old favorites that somehow slipped my mind. Garlic shrimp was the first one I revisited!
This garlic shrimp recipe used to be a special occasion meal. I think we usually had it on Christmas, but then I realized it’s really easy and delicious. So why limit it to holidays? We don’t anymore!
To make this recipe come together quickly you will want to use peeled and deveined shrimp. If you can’t find them, you can peel and devein them yourself. The one thing that you want to be certain about is that you are using raw shrimp. If you get the kind that are already cooked, the shrimp will be too rubbery. Over cooked shrimp are not good!
This is such a simple dish. You can serve these shrimp with some nice crusty french bread to soak up the garlic infused olive oil. Sometimes we do pasta with it and spoon the olive oil it and add a little extra parmesan. It’s soooo good!
Give this quick and easy seafood dish a try tonight!
