Hey! I’m Allison, the creator behind allisonproper.com. I started this blog as a landing place for all of my recipes. Over the years, I’ve had a lot of people ask for my recipes, so I thought I’d start this as a place to keep them all together. I like using this as a creative outlet. Aside from spending time with my family and friends, cooking brings me great joy. There is just something I love about getting in the kitchen and experimenting with recipes. What you will find here are recipes that my family and friends love. They are tried and true, not to mention simple.
I’m a mother, wife and full-time professional. Holding all of those titles doesn’t leave a lot of extra time, especially having two boys that are involved in just about every sport our area has to offer. Now that the kids are so active, we have to schedule our travel around when and where the kids are playing. I do occasionally find time for a quick get away here and there. While you won’t see me visiting anywhere too exotic in the near future, I do like to let people know about the areas where we are going. You never know when you’ll find yourself in the Midwest at a ball tournament and need to know a good place to eat or something fun to do!
