Spicy Pretzels

I can’t believe we are already a week into December. Christmas will be here and gone in no time! That makes me realize I need to be getting all my gifts ready for friends and neighbors. These Spicy Pretzels would be the perfect thing to give! They are a little spicy, but not too much heat.

If you are looking for an easy snack to set out during the holidays, these pretzels are perfect and only take a few ingredients!  My son’s friend always brought these to their holiday party and they were always gone in no time!

How do I make Spicy Pretzels?

This is one of the easiest snacks you will make this holiday season.  They are quick to throw together and take only a few ingredients.  All you need to do is whisk cayenne pepper, lemon pepper, garlic salt, dry ranch dressing mix and oil together and pour over the pretzels.  Pop them onto a baking sheet and place them in the oven for an hour and a half, stirring occasionally.

Does it matter what shape of pretzel I use?

You can use whatever shape of pretzel you like.  I think the large pretzel rods might be a little to big, but just about anything else would work.  I’ve seen Christmas tree shaped ones that would be really cute.

How should I store these pretzels?

I store them in an airtight container for up to a week, although they usually don’t last that long.

I think these would be cute to put in a decorative jar or even a season take out container to gift to family and friends!  Give this easy snack a try!
