Sticky Buns

Christmas is next week!!!!! You read that right……Christmas is next week!  As it is every year, the season has flown by!  I couldn’t let the holidays get by without sharing this Sticky Buns recipe with you.  If you love the idea of homemade cinnamon rolls but are either intimidated to make them or running short on time, these are the perfect solution!

These Sticky Buns are like a cinnamon roll but without all the work!  The secret that makes these so easy is frozen dinner rolls!

How to make Sticky Buns

These Sticky Buns are one of the easiest breakfast recipes you’ll ever make!  The hardest part is remembering to put them together the night before.

The night before you want to serve these rolls, you assemble everything in the baking dish and let the rolls rise overnight.  It’s as simple as sprinkling pecans in the bottom of a dish, placing the rolls on top, then adding everything on top of the rolls.  Since the rolls are frozen there will be a lot of space in the pan.  This will allow all of the good stuff to get between the rolls and even underneath them.  Once you’ve assembled everything in the baking dish, cover with plastic wrap and let them sit on the counter overnight.

When you wake up, you will find a pan full of rolls.  Simply bake and turn them onto a foil lined pan when they are done!

What to serve with sticky buns

If you want to just have something sweet, you could certainly serve these by themselves with milk, juice or coffee.  But I like a little something savory with my sweet breakfast items.  A breakfast casserole would work well but our favorite thing to pair with these are Sausage and Rye Party Breads.  Fruit salad would be another great addition!

These Sticky Buns would make a perfect addition to your Christmas morning breakfast!  You’re going to love how effortless they are but most importantly, you’re going to love how delicious they are!

Merry Christmas!
