Sweet and Salty Snack Mix – one of the hardest flavor combinations to resist! Around the holidays it seems like everywhere you go there are sweets. Cookies, candy, fudge. As the name would suggest, this snack mix is mostly sweet with a little bit of salty. The combination of the sweet and salty together make it the perfect snack!
You can have this Sweet and Salty Snack Mix made in 10 minutes. It’s so quick and easy that you can whip up a batch of it and keep it on hand all holiday season. I will warn you, it doesn’t stay around long. Every time I make it, it is gone quickly!
All you have to do is boil the sugar mixture for 4 minutes and pour over the cereal mixture. The microwave does most of the work. You will need a brown paper bag to cook the mix in the microwave. I usually have a Trader Joe’s or Kroger Clicklist bag on hand. I know Aldi also has paper bags.
This is a simple and delicious snack mix that is great to have on hand for guests or to give as gifts this holiday season!
