
This apple pie is the perfect fall dessert. Always a crowd pleaser!
Mix sugars, cinnamon, flour and salt together and set aside.
Peel, core and slice apples.
Place pie crust in bottom of pan. Sprinkle some of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the crust.
Fill the pan with apples. Put more of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the apples. Squeeze lemon juice on top. Cut the butter and place on top of apples.
Seal with top crust. Brush crust with a little milk with a pastry brush.
Bake at 350 degrees for 50-60 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown. If the crust is getting too brown, place foil around the edges to prevent burning.
This recipe is for a 9x13 pan. If you are making a standard round pie, you will not need all of the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
