
A delicious homemade custard in a pie shell. You chose the topping, meringue or whipped cream!
In a saucepan mix milk, sugar, flour, egg yolks and cocoa. Cook on medium heat until mixture starts to bubble and thicken. Once it thickens and reaches a pudding consistency, remove from heat and stir in vanilla and butter until well incorporated and smooth.
Pour pudding into a prepared pie shell.
Let pie completely cool before topping with shipped cream
