Ingredients
4cupsstrawberries, cleaned and cut
4cupssugar
1 package Sure-Jell
3/4c water
Instructions
Measure 4 cups of cleaned and cut strawberries.
Mash berries, making sure you have 2 cups of prepared fruit when you are finished.
Add 4 cups of sugar to prepared strawberries and stir.
In a small saucepan bring 3/4 cup of water and the package of Sure-Jell to a boil. Boil for 1 minute stirring continuously.
Pour Sure-Jell mixture over the prepared strawberries and sugar. Stir continuously for 3 minutes until all sugar has dissolved.
Pour into pint sized mason jars making sure to leave 1/2 inch at the top for expansion. Place lids on jars and set on counter for 24 hours. Place in freezer up to 1 year.
